Policies

SERVICES & BOOKING
All services are priced according to the Artist’s level. Please note that complex color services may require additional sessions to achieve your desired result. During your consultation, all pricing will be discussed in detail with you, as well as if additional appointments are necessary to achieve your goal as results can vary. In order to give you the best hair possible, it’s your personal responsibility to be honest about your hair history. We will not be liable for any damage caused as a result of undivulged information.

In order to book an appointment with us, we’ll gather your contact information and a valid credit card number through our staff or online booking system. You will receive an email and/or text message 48 hours or less before your scheduled session to reconfirm your appointment.

No color service performed by Love Lane Salon is guaranteed if you have used box dye color or home chemical service in the past.

Not all technicians perform work on hair extensions. All extension services require a consultation prior to booking.

TARDINESS
We understand when shit happens and you’re running late. Kindly give us a call ahead to let us know. Out of respect for our crew & clients, please note that an arrival beyond 7 minutes of your scheduled session may result in the forfeit of your appointment completely and a cancellation fee. We may honor your appointment at our discretion and we reserve the right to cancel or modify your services as needed to keep our team on time for all following appointments. Should this happen more than once, Love Lane Salon® will no longer allow future appointments to be scheduled.
    
    Please consider that extra time may be needed when locating street parking.

CANCELLATIONS
Life happens, we get it. We kindly ask that you provide more than 24-hour notice from your scheduled appointment for any cancellations or changes via email or text. Notice provided less than 24 hours from your scheduled appointment will result in a charge equal to 100% of the appointment scheduled. Should this happen more than once, Love Lane Salon® will no longer allow future appointments to be scheduled.

NO CALL / NO SHOW
Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment without contacting us via email or text to cancel or change your appointment will result in a charge equal to 100% of the appointment scheduled.

REFUNDS
We are extremely good at what we do and we do everything in our power to make sure you love your hair. As such, we do not offer refunds of any kind. If you are not 100% obsessed with your hair, let us know within 7 days of your service and our team will make it right. After 7 days, any concerns will not immediately be considered a complimentary adjustment and will be assessed on a case by case basis. This may result in additional service/product fees.
    
    We do not offer adjustments of any kind if you attempt to remedy a previous service received at Love Lane Salon® with at-home services or another salon’s services.
    
CHILDREN
At Love Lane, safety and relaxation are core parts of the client experience. For that reason, children under the age of 18 may receive services at Love Lane only at the discretion of the Artist. A parent or legal guardian must be physically present in the salon for the entire duration of the appointment. This ensures safety, proper consent, and clear communication regarding the service.
Children under the age of 18 who are not receiving a service may not be in the salon for safety reasons. As professionals, we use tools, hot equipment, and chemicals that can be dangerous to children if left unattended.

ANIMALS
We love animals, but for their safety and the relaxation of our Team and clients, animals are not permitted in the salon. In accordance with the New Jersey Department of Health, animals (with the exception of trained service dogs) are not permitted in the salon.

HUMAN DECENCY
Our Decency Policy exists to set clear boundaries that protect our community. We are actively anti-racist, committed to equity, and open to dialogue in genuine, teachable moments. At the same time, we are decisive when behavior crosses the line. Discrimination, racism, misogyny, harassment, or aggression of any kind will not be tolerated. Violations of this policy will have consequences, up to and including removal from our salon and client list.
