We are always looking for talented Artists and Assistants to join our Team. We currently have openings for part-time or full-time Artists and Assistants who are looking to specialize in color, cutting, extensions, and/or bridal hair/makeup.
Love Lane is open from Monday to Saturday. We open for clients at 10am and close the salon between 6pm - 8pm (depending on the day). While we do offer part-time schedules, we do require a full work day (sorry, no split shifts). Many of our Artists work 3 longer days to allow for a 4 day weekend. While we may work longer days, we always ensure our Team has a 1 Hour lunch break to rest and have time for themselves.
The short answer is 190 Christopher Columbus Drive #4C Jersey City, NJ. The longer answer is: Love Lane Salon is located on the 4th floor of the Vito A Lofts in downtown Jersey City, NJ. We're in a doorbell building with an elevator, making is a super safe and secure building. It also means we're a bit of a hidden gem and worked extra hard to build a reputation that welcomes clients to find us on the 4th floor instead of relying on walk-in traffic fro street level visibility!
Love Lane is appointment-only, so there are no walk-ins and we communicate with all new clients before they end up in your chair. Our incredible Client Communication Team ensures that every new client completes a Virtual Consultation form to ensure they are properly scheduled and are paired with an Artist on our Team that specializes in their hair goals. If you do not have a client scheduled, you are not required to be in the salon.
Yes! Education is a core value at Love Lane. We offer monthly in-salon trainings and an annual continuing education allowance to ensure our Team stays on top of trends and creatively motivated. We also have access to multiple subscriptions platforms for virtual learning.
Our Assistant to Artist journey is self-paced and crafted based on your skillset and goals. For our motivated and disciplined Assistants, we do offer a fast track program that is designed to get you confident and prepared to be on the floor taking clients in 3-6 months.
